The panoramic view across the old town is a highlight, offering a captivating scene at sunrise. Plenty of free parking spaces available, preventing the usual hotel hassle of tight spots.
Noise levels can be an issue. The proximity to the train line results in loud vibrations and sounds from passing trains, especially at night. The mattress is soft, leading to an unstable sleeping experience. The layout of the building is quite confusing, resembling a labyrinth with some rooms hidden away from direct access. The restaurant's menu lacks variety, presenting unvaried options over multiple nights.

We enjoyed our meal on the terrace of the restaurant and the waitress was especially helpful with advice about wines from the area.
The eternal waterside works make movement a bit tricky but that is not the fault of the hotel and will change soon I hope.

A lot of luxery for an acceptable price during the weekend. 158,- € for 2 persons for 2 nights, amazing. The price for the breakfast 13,50 € / p. was also acceptable. The view over the river (Rhein) is un-payable, wonderfull!

Couldn't recommend more for a getaway
Cozy room, good breakfast, with a spacious layout that offered a lovely river view and easy access to free undercover parking.
No drawbacks at all.

We had a real good stay with extra night.
We had an air conditioned room and a substantial and superb breakfast. The location in kitchen & Restaurant was unbeatable.

The hotel staff were excellent and always on hand to help any way they could.
The rooms were a little out dated and in need of some modernisation, certainly a little over priced for the standard of room. That said the public areas of the hotel were of an exceptionally high standard and the location was fantastic.

The very expensive dinner (served on the lovely balcony overlooking the Rhine) was less than impressive. The service was unforgivably slow. They took twenty minutes to tell us that the bottle of wine they had recommended was no longer in stock, and another fifteen before they brought a different bottle of Riesling. One of the salads they served was wonderful, but the other salad and the main courses were pedestrian. We ate in the city after that dinner, and did very well.

The room we stayed in was very good, but it wasn't the one we booked originally. We were first offered a room, which could accommodate 2 adults and one child, but had no window in the adults section, which was unacceptable. We had to change into a different room, but the cost was 60 eur more per night.
Linen was not changed over 4 days and until we left. The hotel advertises it's spa facilities, but the pool is very small (6-7 m in diameter). We are not used to railway being so close to the hotel, which made the whole building rattle from time to time.

Great river view, but the train noise was a real downer.

Good restaurant overlooking the river as do many of the rooms. Also plenty of space for your car.
As we stayed four days our room was a little short on draw space.

Very clean, lovely view. Large room and bathroom. Very nicely decorated. Located across the river from the main tourist area, but quick to get downtown. Hotel restaurant was quite expensive for breakfast, try the bakery attached to the grocery store around the block. Great value for the money.

The hotel is a resort in its nature and is located on a great location on the banks of the Rhien.

the hotel is newly renovated (still to finish in some sections). the rooms are very nicely appointed and comfortable. it is excellent value for the money. they offer very good dinner and breatfast. we had good time there and will come back.
they charge 9 euro for sauna - that is a bit too much. although the swimming pool is free. they could increase the room rate to cover free saunsa. anothter thing, in NA, nearly all hotels have free internet - yet they charge 3 euro for 10 minutes - that is something to be improved upon.
